Instead of being handed a prepackaged meal plan, restrictive diet, and list of dos and don'ts, you will be challenged to clarify, acknowledge, and tap into your internal motivation to change the way you are eating.
You will learn how your body uses and responds to foods from the different macronutrient groups, and how to adjust your macros to promote increased metabolism and decreased appetite to make weight loss easier than you ever imagined.
You will determine your own goals for your well-being. You will decide how to take action while respecting your particular life circumstances, schedule, and health needs.
There are no magic bullets and no quick-and-mindless fixes in nutrition coaching. This is work! It is possibly the most worthwhile work you will do in your lifetime and will profoundly affect your health.
I will assist you on your journey by helping you navigate nutrition and health information, weeding out what doesn't make sense and helping you to focus on evidence-based scientifically sound information you can leverage to achieve your vision of health.

what is "integrative" nutrition coaching?
Integrative nutrition coaching is an approach that puts you at the center and addresses the full range of physical, emotional, mental, social, spiritual, and environmental influences affecting your decisions about what and how to feed yourself and your family.
You are coached through developing goals and strategies which take into consideration your unique conditions, needs, and circumstances.
The coaching effectively motivates and supports health behavior change through a structured partnership between you and your coach. Your coach is like a “personal trainer” except the focus will be on your whole self.
Your coach helps you develop and realize your optimal health vision through inquiry, personal discovery, and accountability.
