Orange Dreamsicles

Give your kid a yummy treat and a shot of vitamin C, calcium, and protein.

Yum! Creamy Orange Dreamsicles.

My kids grew up eating these creamy orange dreamsicles. They are inexpensive and very easy to make. The only two ingredients are vanilla yogurt and orange juice concentrate.

The yogurt was $2.99 and the orange juice concentrate was $1.49 at my local grocery store. That's just $4.49 to make 12 full size popsicles (about 37 cents each).

Yogurt is a great source of both calcium and protein. Orange juice provides a heap of vitamin C and can also be a source of calcium.

But besides that, they taste GREAT. They are creamy and tangy and very, very orangey. These are healthy frozen treats your kids will love.

Orange Dreamsicles

Ingredients

1 32 oz container of vanilla yogurt

1 12 oz container of orange juice concentrate

Directions

Stir yogurt and orange juice concentrate to blend. Pour into popsicle molds. Freeze.

This recipe will make about 12 regular size popsicles with a bit left over.

I love popsicles and making popsicles. I have a variety of mismatched popsicle molds. I like the ones on the left the best because the molds are individual.
